Minor Orthodontics using Simpli5 technique

Advancement in Cosmetic dentistry techniques has led to higher demand for several newer and better teeth straightening treatments. Simpli5 aligners are clear are one of the simplest teeth straightening methods that are made to correct minor orthodontic problems. Hence, it is mostly recommended for those who have had previous orthodontics but have had a slight relapse.
It can be used by anyone as long as the correction required does not exceed a certain limit. In cases were an average or more than average misalignment has already taken place, Simpli5 is not useful. In such cases, Dr. Rossitch will refer you to an Orthodontist for evaluation.

There are many reasons why people prefer Simpli5 over other forms of aligners or even clear braces. The main factor is that it is 100 percent invisible. It doesn't have any sort of brackets or strings fixed to it. This makes it even more comfortable and lightweight. Simpli5 is made up of a highly transparent material that is created only at Simpli5 laboratory. The only other aligner that has this quality is indeed the Invisalign. Thus, transparency is the biggest advantage that makes Simpi5 so popular. It is a perfect teeth straightening technique which cannot be detected by anyone.

Using simpli5 is quite simple. The entire treatment schedule is chalked for an average time period of 5 months. The time taken can be more if the patient doesn't respond as expected. However, if the patient closely follows the instructions given by his dentist then surely he will be able to wind up the treatment within 5 months.

As the name goes Simpli5 consists of 5 sets of aligners. These aligners should be worn progressively as the patient's teeth moves slowly towards the desired position with each set of aligner. The aligners are prepared after taking the measurement of the patient's teeth. Each set of Simpli5 should be worn for at least 4 weeks. After which the aligner becomes loose and needs to be removed. The same is repeated with the next set. Thus a single set of aligner should be ideally used for a period of 28 to 30 days.

Simpli5 is fairly convenient as it can be removed by the patient whenever it is necessary. However, everyday it should be worn for around 20 hours minimum.
